How It Works
To book your session, a $295 deposit secures your date. This includes a pre-session phone call, up to one hour of photography in a pet-friendly location such as your home, a trail, or their favourite place, and a personalized image reveal and ordering appointment. Your full deposit is credited toward the image collection you choose after the shoot.
On session day, there’s no stiff posing or pressure. And yes, your dog can absolutely stay on leash, if needed. We can remove most distractions during the editing process. We’ll move at your pet’s pace and comfort level, capturing their natural personality and expressions in a calm, respectful way. Whether that means quiet moments, gentle curiosity, or bursts of excitement, the goal is to document what feels most like them. This is photography with patience and heart.
After your shoot, you’ll preview a curated image gallery and choose the image collection that fits you best. Only purchase what you love, with no surprises.

Frequently Asked Questions
I’m worried my dog isn’t well behaved enough!
You’re not the only one who feels this way. It’s a valid concern. You’re investing in professional images and naturally want your dog to behave perfectly. Let us ease your mind.
Most of the dogs we photograph are not supermodels with years of obedience training. We allow plenty of time for your dog to settle in and simply be a dog. We actually enjoy a good challenge and will work patiently to capture the magic within your pup.
If for any reason we are unable to capture any images, you will not be charged. It’s that simple. We are laid back and want the entire experience to be stress free for both you and your dog.
My dog can’t be off leash. Is that a problem?
Not a problem at all. Most leashes and collars can be removed in Photoshop. We can also use a long lead during the session to get those wide open shots without sacrificing safety.
Your pet’s well-being is always our top priority. We only suggest off-leash if you are fully confident in your pet’s ability to stay close and follow commands. In some cases, like busy city settings or near traffic, even the most obedient dogs remain on leash for safety.
Sadly my dog’s health is declining fast. Can you accommodate a time-sensitive request?
We are so sorry to hear that. Dogs’ lives are heartbreakingly short, and we understand how important it is to hold on to these final moments. Please reach out right away. We will do everything we can to fit you in as soon as possible.

Who is your ideal client?
Your dog is our ideal client. We have never met a dog we didn’t love to photograph. Even if you think they are difficult, we welcome the challenge.
As for the humans, we love working with people who treat their pets like family. If your dog shares your bed, goes on hikes with you, enjoys patios, and lives for car rides with the window down, we are speaking the same language.
We work hard to capture your dog’s true personality. We are not just here to take pictures. We want to create images that truly reflect the love you share.
Do you allow pet owners and kids to be in the images too?
Absolutely. We encourage you and your family to be in a few photos with your pet. Our pets are part of our family, and it is important to capture those connections.
We will discuss your preferences before the session to make sure we do not miss any important images.
Do you photograph other animals?
Yes, we do. If you have a unique pet, we would love to hear about them. Whether they are furry, scaly, cold-blooded, or warm-blooded, big or small, we are open to it all.
How long are your photo sessions?
Session length can vary depending on your dog and the number of locations we use. We only book one session per day to make sure we never feel rushed.
We photograph with different lenses and from different angles, giving you a wide variety of compositions and expressions. Most sessions last between 30 and 60 minutes.
What if it rains or the weather is bad on the day of our session?
We always keep an eye on the forecast and will touch base with you the day before the shoot if the weather looks questionable. If it is unsafe or just not ideal, we will happily reschedule your session at no additional cost.
A little drizzle can sometimes add charm, but we want you and your pup to be comfortable and enjoy the experience.
How many images will I get to choose from?
After your session, we’ll present a curated gallery of the best images, typically between 30 and 60 depending on how your pet does and how many locations we used.
From there, you can choose the image collection that suits you best. You are never pressured to choose more than you love.
Can I upgrade my collection option after seeing the gallery?
Absolutely. Many clients fall in love with more images than they expected. After viewing your gallery, you will have the option to upgrade your collection or purchase individual images, artwork, or albums as add-ons.
Do you sell additional prints and framed artwork?
Yes, absolutely. Your home should be filled with images that bring you joy. All wall art includes complimentary in-home installation.
We have carefully selected a product line that complements many styles of home décor. We are happy to discuss artwork options and pricing during your consultation or at the photo session.
Can you help me choose the best images for wall art?
Yes, and we love doing that. During your image reveal and ordering session, we will guide you through selecting the strongest images for your space and layout.
We can even mock up previews using photos of your walls so you can see how your artwork will look before you order.
What’s the cancellation policy?
All deposits are non-refundable. However, bookings are transferable if needed. If something comes up, we’re happy to reschedule with as much notice as possible, depending on availability.
How far do you travel?
We are happy to travel anywhere in the world to photograph your pet. Travel fees may apply depending on the location. If you are within 100 kilometres of Baysville, Ontario, there are no additional travel fees. For anything beyond that, we are happy to provide a fair and personalized travel quote.
