01 / Chobe River · June 10–13, 2028
Wildlife from land and water
Private land & water safaris
We begin on the Chobe River, where June’s dry conditions draw wildlife towards the water. Elephants arrive to drink and bathe, buffalo move across the floodplains, hippos fill the channels, and lions roam the surrounding landscape.
By vehicle, we explore Chobe National Park’s floodplains and woodland. From the water, we photograph along the riverbanks as elephants descend towards the shoreline, hippos surface nearby, and birds gather among the reeds.
Our game drives, boat activities, and dining are private for our group, giving us space to enjoy the experience together.
Three nights on the banks of the Chobe
Our first stay is at an intimate, privately owned eco-lodge surrounded by indigenous riverine forest.
River-view chalets look across the Chobe, keeping the landscape close even between activities. There’s a natural swimming pool filtered by plants, African-fusion meals made with locally sourced ingredients, and time to relax on your deck as the river carries on around you.
The lodge supports its surrounding community through local employment and community initiatives.
What each day holds
Early morning and afternoon outings combine game drives with time on the river.
We’ll also have the opportunity to visit the confluence of the Chobe and Zambezi Rivers, near the meeting of Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. A guided village experience offers a chance to learn about local life beyond the safari.

02 / Khwai Private Reserve · June 13–16, 2028
A front-row seat to the waterhole
Exclusive camp · Photographic hide
On June 13, we leave Chobe and fly into Khwai Private Reserve, on the north-eastern edge of the Okavango Delta.
Riverine forest, seasonal floodplains, grasslands, and mopane woodland create a varied landscape where elephant, giraffe, buffalo, antelope, and predators move freely through the wider wilderness.
Lion, leopard, cheetah, and African wild dog are among the species found here.
Three nights beside a wildlife waterhole
For these three nights, the camp is exclusively ours.
Set within mopane forest, it overlooks a natural waterhole where wildlife comes and goes throughout the day. Some of our most memorable viewing may happen while we’re back at camp between activities.
Canvas tents have ensuite bathrooms, indoor showers, mosquito netting, and charging facilities. The dining deck, lounge, and swimming pool also face the waterhole.
What each day holds
Morning and late afternoon game drives frame our days.
Scheduled time in the underground photographic hide brings us down to an exceptionally low perspective, allowing us to settle in and photograph as animals approach the waterhole.
Walking safaris reveal tracks, birds, plants, and the smaller details of the bush. Night drives introduce wildlife that becomes more active after dark.

03 / Southern Okavango Delta · June 16–19, 2028
Into the heart of leopard country
Exclusive camp · Living With Leopards
On June 16, we leave Khwai and travel into the southern Okavango Delta.
This is the landscape featured in Netflix’s Living With Leopards: a vast private concession of grasslands, floodplains, lagoons, palm islands, and woodland.
Leopard may be the headline, but lion, African wild dog, cheetah, and hyena share the landscape with elephant, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, and antelope. For us, it’s a fitting place to spend our final three nights.
A remote camp, exclusively ours
Our final camp is small, intimate, and reserved entirely for our group.
Seven raised canvas tents sit among shady trees, with views across the surrounding landscape. Each has an ensuite bathroom, indoor shower, mosquito netting, a ceiling fan, and charging facilities.
Elephants frequently move through the area to feed on palm nuts, berries, and wild figs. Between activities, there’s time to relax, enjoy the camp swimming pool, and take in the setting.
What each day holds
Morning and late afternoon game drives explore the concession’s predator habitat. Night drives offer opportunities to look for smaller predators and elusive nocturnal species.
When water levels allow, we can also experience the Delta by mokoro. Moving quietly through the waterways offers an entirely different perspective on this remarkable landscape.

A wider purpose
Conservation beyond the safari
The places we visit are part of a wider effort to protect Botswana’s wildlife and support the communities living alongside it.
In Khwai, tourism helps maintain habitat and migration corridors while connecting conservation with local economic opportunities. Conservation work also includes vaccinating domestic dogs to help reduce disease risks for African wild dogs.
In the southern Delta, initiatives include wildlife protection, giraffe research, community support, and conservation education.
